Spring Gospel Meeting 2024: First Evening

NEW LEXINGTON, Ohio — Members and guests of South Main Church of Christ gathered at the building housing Christ’s Church to hear our guest speaker of this year’s Spring Gospel Meeting, Terry Townsend.

Terry has twenty-six years of experience in preaching in Ohio, Alabama and Tennessee. Terry is a graduate of (the now-former) East Tennessee School of Preaching. He has been an evangelist with New Concord Church of Christ for six-and-a-half years. Terry has a wife, Carrie, a son, a daughter and a new granddaughter.

Tom Love, of New Concord Church of Christ, delivered opening prayer.

Bob Garey, of Somerset Church of Christ, delivered closing prayer.

Sunday evening’s theme was: Encouragement.

There are two more evenings of the Spring Gospel Meeting 2024: Monday evening (April 22) at 7:00 p.m., and Tuesday evening (April 23) at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend for worship, prayer, song and conversation after the service.
