NEW LEXINGTON, Ohio — Members gathered Sunday for our weekly worship service at South Main Church of Christ.
We were blessed to host Daryl Hurst, of Norval Park Church of Christ, as our guest preacher.
The theme of this morning’s service was “It is finished.” What did Jesus mean when he said “it is finished”? According to Matthew 5:18, “For verily I say unto you, ’til Heaven and Earth pass, one jot and one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, ’till all be fulfilled.” He meant the Old Law had been fulfilled.
To be part of the New Law, you must do you part of the New Law. Mark 16:16 (KJV) “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth shall not be damned.”
