NEW LEXINGTON, Ohio — Brothers and sisters in Christ, and visitors, assembled this morning to hear a lesson from the New Testament from Daryl Hurst, visiting preacher from Norval Park Church of Christ in Zanesville.
Daryl’s sermon was focused on God’s rule book, and Daryl related it to football, as football season has begun.
Daryl preached about God’s guidelines, instructions, things which are there for our wisdom and knowledge. In the beginning, God created Heaven and Earth, a history of how things happened, how God chose a people to be His people, and how Jesus died on the cross.
John 3:16 says “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son.”
