Jim Lanning, elder at South Main Church of Christ, refers to Mark 12 in the New Testament.

“Starting with Verse 28, Jesus said one of the scribes asked him what was the greatest commandment. […] Thou shall love thy neighbor as thy self. There is no other commandment greater than these. So, the second commandment he told the scribe is Love they neighbor,” Jim said.

Also, it was asked, who is my neighbor? He spoke to that in Chapter 10 of Luke, verse 29. He wanting to justify himself said to Jesus, then who is my neighbor? Those all around about you and you care about them if you show them love.
