Ernie Starling, elder at South Main Church of Christ, offers this answer.

“God has known us from the moment we were conceived in the womb. We are created by God. God did not make any junk. Why do we need to change our bodies? We may not be perfect, but God loves us the way we are,” Ernie said.

If you want to get your hair cut or something like that, that does not change the person within.

“When we are conceived, we are male or female, that should be left as-is because that is how God wants us to be,” he added.

Note: Our web offerings are one way of keeping in touch and can't replace in-person acts of worship.
